GMO Foods Hide Under Different Names

It is so very important to READ THE LABELS after learning here how GMO foods can hide under different names. You will also learn that GMO ladden foods are in every fast food restaurant and other national chain restaurants.

Soy derivatives can “hide” under a variety of different names, including:

  • Textured Soy Flour (TSF)
  • Textured Soy Protein (TSP)
  • Textured Vegetalble Protein (TVP)
  • Lecithin
  • MSG (See below for the hidden names for MSG)
  • Mono-diglyceride
  • Soya
  • Soja
  • Yuba

MSG can ‘hide’ under a variety of different names, including:

  • Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein
  • Natural Flavorings
  • Natural Meat Tenderizer
  • ‘Accent’
  • ‘Aginomoto’

MSG has been added in larger and larger doses to the pre-packaged meals, soups, snacks, and fast foods that people are tempted to eat everyday such as Burger King, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, every restaurant — even the sit-down eateries like TGIF, Chili’s, Applebee’s, and Denny’s uses MSG in abundance.  Kentucky Fried Chicken seemed to be the WORST offender as MSG was in every chicken dish, salad dressing and gravy.

MSG manufacturers themselves admit that it addicts people to their products. It makes people choose their product over others, and makes people eat more of it than they would if MSG wasn’t added.

Not only is MSG scientifically proven to cause obesity (as it triples the amount of insulin the pancreas creates) but it is an addictive substance. MSG effects the pituatary gland which in turn effects the adrenal glands, thryroid gland, overaries, and testes as well as MSG is linked to diabetes, migraines and headaches, autism, ADHD, and even Alzheimer’s.

Artificial Sweeteners

Artificial Chemical Sweeteners are all genentically engineered. Stay away from these toxic substances that cause numerous health issues.

High Fructose Corn Syrup or HFCS and it’s many other names include:

  • Corn Sugar
  • Corn Syrup
  • Corn Oil
  • Corn Starch
  • Fructose
  • D-Fructose
  • Hydrolyzed Corn
  • Various Other Corn-Based Additives

High Fructose Corn Syrup is the major cause of obesity, diabetes, cardio-vascular disease and more.  Please read the labels. Better yet, buy whole fresh foods, cook at home and you won’t have to worry about any of this.

The bottom line with reading labels is if you don’t recognize the ingredient as a common food, most likely it is either a GMO food or a chemically laden food-like substance.  As mentioned under the page  “What In The World Am I Eating’, there are some tips mentioned for how to best avoid GMO’s when eating out.
